I watched this video of Will Smith talking about jumping out of an airplane and realized that this is exactly how I feel when I start a new project.
I'm a writer. If I'm staring at you, I'm not being rude. I'm trying to decide if you need to go in a book. If you're a snot, I may be trying to decide how to kill you.
I attended the LDStorymakers Conference in May and one of my favorite breakout sessions was Verb Fu, presented by Courtney Alameda.
Courtney shared a video by Grammaropolis that had me laughing and cringing at the same time. I want all of you laugh and cringe with me, so without further adieu I present to you Action Verb Man v. Action Verb Man! (If you can last to the end of the first video, Action Verb Man finds true love with a pronoun. Hey, even Action Verb Man deserves true love.)
And not to be outdone by the original, here is the School House Rocks version.
Have you ever wanted to write a novel, but don't know where to start? You think all of the great ideas have been taken and wonder "what can I possibly write that will be different?"
Well take a trip with me to Teddy's Story Joint. It's where I go to get all my great ideas. Plus, we can grab some lunch and a refill of Pirates of the Caribbean.
